LITTLE DETAILS
50% non-refundable retainer required to begin work. Full payment is required for final delivery.
Standard turnaround time is 2-3 weeks. This time begins when address list, envelopes + deposit have all been received.
For a shorter end of turnaround, if my workflow allows, I can accommodate with an additional rush fee of 20% or $75- whichever is greater.
If you are providing envelopes, I will need at least 15-20% extra envelopes (ie: at least 15-20 extra per 100.)
If you'd like to be extra cautious [or are using envelopes from minted], I'd add a few more than that.
I do work with old school dip pens and nibs, and while I love it, sometimes the materials have a mind of their own.
Address lists should be typed and set up as you'd like them to appear on envelopes. Lists should be saved as a PDF or Word doc file.
No spreadsheets, please!

I work from the lists as provided, so please check them carefully! hello, bird is not responsible for errors that match the provided list.
One round of updates to the address list is included. Any additional updates are subject to a $25 fee.
After order is delivered, additional guest envelopes are $6/each.
The mixing of custom ink and handwritten nature of our process may lead to slight variations.
This is part of the beauty of calligraphy - each envelope is a single work of art.
pro tips
If your address list is currently a spreadsheet, and probably in your Google Drive, there's a great plug-in for Chrome browsers here -
use the one on the right (Avery Label Mail Merge) - that can help you format your list.If you have guests with zip codes beginning or ending with a zero (popular in NJ + the northeast) - double-check to be sure that their zip codes have all 5 digits! (If you built your address list as a spreadsheet, the program may have eliminated a zero at the beginning or end, thinking that it was an error.)
